Check-In Time: Our check-in time is between 1:00 pm. and 6:00 pm daily. We are carved into the side of a mountain. For your safety and that of our staff we do not allow check-ins after 6:00 p.m. (See our No Show Policy below).
Check-Out Time: Please vacate your site no later than 11:00 am so that we may ready it for the next guest. Check with our reservation desk before 10 am on your day of departure if you would like to extend. We do not guaranty the same site.
Reservations: Our reservation system automatically assigns sites the day of arrival. We do not guarantee specific site numbers. We guarantee a site type. If you have reserved a 30/50 amp full hook-up pull-through and you are moved it will be to the same site type with the same amenities. For example: If you reserved a deck site and the system moves you it will be to another deck site. If you have a preference you may secure it with a one-time (per reservation) site-lock fee.
Length of Stay: Most holiday weekends require a 3-night stay. regular weekends require a 2-night stay. Cabins and tent sites require a minimum 2-night stay. The maximum length of stay from April 1 – November 1 is 10 nights. We offer weekly and monthly rates November 1 – March 1.
Deposits/Payments: All reservations require a $250.00 deposit or payment in full whichever is less. Holiday weekends, weekends during season (April 1 – November 1) and events are non-refundable.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made a minimum of 7 days in advance will receive a refund to the original form of payment less a $25 cancellation fee. Cancellations less than 7 days prior to the arrival date; deposit/payment will be retained. Covid-19 cancellations are subject to our regular cancellation and refund policies. No shows will result in forfeiture of the entire deposit or reservation fee.
Refund Policy: Refunds are not issued for inclement weather, early departure, ejection from our campground or any other reason. In lieu of a cancellation fee you may elect camp credit. A credit issued towards a future stay must be used within 180 days from date of issue. All refunds will be processed back to the original form of payment. No shows will result in forfeiture of the entire deposit or reservation fee.
No Show Policy: Check in daily is between the hours of 1pm and 6pm. Our office closes promptly at 6pm and we do not allow anyone to enter the campground un-escorted. If you have not changed your arrival date with the office at least 7 days from date of arrival, you will forfeit the entire deposit or reservation fee. No shows will result in forfeiture of the entire deposit or reservation fee.
Speed Limit: The speed limit is 5 mph on all roads in the campground. We strictly enforce the speed limit for the safety of our guests, staff and animals.
Occupancy: RV site camping fees include 4 persons. Additional guests are charged $5.00 each per night for duration of stay.
Visitors: Campers are responsible for their visitors. They must register at the office and pay the visitor fee to obtain a car pass.
Vehicles: One vehicle and one RV is allowed on RV sites. One vehicle is allowed per cabin and tent site. No vehicle can protrude into the flow of traffic. Extra vehicles are subject to a $5 fee per night for duration of stay. All vehicles must have a valid state license plate and obtain a parking pass from the main office at check-in. Be prepared to show proof of insurance at any time. Golf carts, ATV’s or other motorized recreational vehicles are prohibited. Only RVIA certified RV’s are allowed in our campground for insurance reasons. Contact the office for further information.
Sewer Hook-Up: Sewer hoses and connections must be in good repair and tightly fitted. Replacements are available in our store.
Wastewater/Leaks: Discharging wastewater on the ground is prohibited. Leaks of waste or fresh water must be corrected immediately. Violators are subject to a fine and possible ejection from the campground.
Fire Pits/Rings & Picnic Tables: Please do not move fire pits or rings without permission from a staff member. Do not burn or leave trash in pits/rings. Please do not leave a fire unattended at any time.
Firewood: We do not allow outside firewood to be brought into our campground. We support North Carolina and Buncombe County efforts to limit the spread of invasive species. We offer kiln dried hardwood for sale, delivered right to your site.
Pets: We love pets, but they must be walked on a leash of 6′ or less in length (no retractable leads) and in your control at all times. Pets are not allowed to disturb other campers. Children under the age of 18 are not allowed to walk pets. Aggressive animals of any breed will not be tolerated. There is a limit of 2 pets per site and are not to be left unattended at any time. We no longer allow pens, crates, fencing or tie outs/stakes of any type. Pets are not allowed in the camp store, registration office, any campground building or cabin. Please do not wash/dry pet bedding in any of our laundry facilities. A fine of $250.00 will be assessed for violation and you will be ejected from the park.
Bath & Shower Facilities: We take pride in our facilities and ask that you be respectful and clean up after yourself. Out of respect for other guests and our cleaning staff please do not leave laundry unattended. Please do not wash/dry flammable items or pet items. A fine of $250.00 will be assessed for violation and you will be ejected from the park.
Smoking, Alcohol & Drugs: Smoking is not allowed in any campground building or indoor facility. Please extinguish smoking materials completely before discarding. Alcohol is allowed in discrete containers on your site only and consumed responsibly. Illicit drugs are not tolerated anywhere on our property. We reserve the right to eject any guest or visitor causing a disturbance for any reason, without recourse or refund.
Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are 10 PM to 8 AM daily. Please be respectful of your neighbors during all times. Generators are not allowed at any time.
Drones: Drone use is not permitted anywhere on the property including the airspace above the park.
Fireworks, Firearms, Explosives: These items are not permitted under any circumstances.
